Fiscal Sponsorship
Fiscal Sponsorship
United Way of Forsyth County provides fiscal sponsorship to grassroots initiatives and emerging organizations that want to make a difference in our community but may not yet have nonprofit status. By serving as the fiscal sponsor, we offer administrative support, financial management, and compliance oversight—so community leaders can focus on mission and impact.
Our role includes:
Board of Directors
Guiding Our Vision, Fueling Our Impact
Our Board of Directors is a dedicated group of local leaders who provide strategic direction, financial oversight, and unwavering support for our mission. Their diverse expertise and deep community ties ensure that United Way of Forsyth County stays focused, accountable, and future-minded as we work to improve lives across Forsyth & Dawson Counties.
United for Health
For many, health opportunities depend on where they live or what they earn. We’re working to change that.
Our Impact
Our Impact
At United Way of Forsyth County, impact is more than numbers—it’s about lives changed and communities strengthened. Every dollar raised stays local, supporting programs and partnerships that move us closer to a thriving community for all.
We focus our efforts on four key areas that build the foundation for lasting change:
Women United
Women United is a dynamic network of women who believe in the power of connection, compassion, and collective impact. Together, we leverage our time, talent, and resources to strengthen Forsyth and Dawson Counties.
We come from different backgrounds and experiences, but we share one powerful belief: that when women stand united, our communities grow stronger.
