AARP Foundation Tax-Aide
United Way Forsyth and Dawson Counties is proud to partner with the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide to provide free tax preparation assistance for individuals and families in our community.
While the program is open to anyone, it is specifically designed to support seniors and taxpayers with low to moderate income. E-filing gets your refunds fast!

Free, reliable tax preparation by trained volunteers
Assistance with federal and Georgia state returns
Help identifying tax credits such as the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Child Tax Credit

Appointments Required
Taxpayers are encouraged to register on-line for an appointment for one of the three AARP Foundation Tax-Aide sites in Forsyth County.
*Appointment scheduling generally begins in mid-January

Required Documents
Please pick up a 13614-C (Intake/Interview & Quality Review Sheet) at the United Way or at Forsyth County Senior Services-Central Park. You may also download the 13614-C (fillable form) from THIS LINK.
Prior to arriving at the site, please read and completely fill-in the 13614-C form and collect all of your tax documents. If you cannot complete the 13614-C form in advance, please plan to come in 15 minutes before your appointment to complete this form on site.
Your tax documents should include:
Identification

A valid driver's license or photo ID for you and your spouse (if married)

All income documents, such as W-2s, 1099-Rs, Social Security income statements, interest, dividend, and brokerage statements
